Reba McEntire, Jack Ingram, Jason Aldean Celebrate Album, Single Success Reba McEntire’s latest album, Keep On Loving You, has debuted at Number One atop both the Billboard Country charts and the Top 200 Albums charts. She recently released the new single from the album, “Consider Me Gone.” Jack Ingram celebrated the release of his new album, Big Dreams and High Hopes, by shattering the Guinness World Record for the most interviews in a consecutive 24-hour period. Ingram did 215 interviews, far outpacing the previous record of 96 interviews. Ingram is also partnering with KC Masterpiece for a new tour campaign. This campaign includes "Eat and Greets" with Ingram at select tour dates, where contest winners will be invited to a backstage barbeque before each show. Ingram will make public appearances on behalf of the brand and Ingram will also share a few of his personal barbecue recipes using KC Masterpiece with his fans. The campaign is scheduled to begin in September. After 14 weeks, Jason Aldean is already celebrating the success of his latest Number One song, "Big Green Tractor." This is the second Number One Song from his third album, Wide Open. Jason Aldean Celebrates Number One Song, "Big Green Tractor." Faith Hill, Kenny Chesney Get Sports Fever Faith Hill's "Waiting All Day for Sunday Night" is back this season as the theme song for NBC's Sunday Night Football. The song will debut on Sept. 13, during a matchup between the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers. Faith Hill isn’t the only one catching sports fever. Kenny Chesney has written a new song, “This Is Our Moment,” that will be used exclusively during ESPN’s Dick's Sporting Goods Kickoff Week (Sept. 3-7), as well as Championship Saturday (Dec. 5). ESPN will debut the song during its pregame show on Sept. 3 at 7 p.m. Garth Honored, Randy Houser Joins Maya Angelou for interviewGarth Brooks accepted the Dale Franklin Leadership Music Award on Sunday night (Aug. 23) at the ballroom of the Renaissance Hotel in Nashville. Jim Foglesong, who signed Brooks to Capitol Nashville, and Allen Reynolds, Brooks’ producer, presented him with the award, which represents leadership in the music industry. Foglesong and Reynolds were recognized for their achievements in the music business as well. Randy Houser joined Maya Angelou for an interview during her radio program on the Oprah &Friends Radio Network. During the interview, he discussed his album, Anything Goes, his love of country music, and his faith.
Summary Congratulations to Reba, Jack, and Jason on their album and single successes. Here is hoping that Jack Ingram is able to get some vocal rest before he goes back out on the road after his interview marathon. Kudos to Kenny and Faith for carrying on the Hank Jr. tradition of marrying sports and song. Garth and Randy are deserving of their honors.
