In the ever-changing world of radio stations, the latest move in Los Angeles is music to fans of country music.
Effective Monday 2/26, the classical music format that was airing at 105.1 FM, a station known as K-Mozart has switched to AM 540. The country station that was airing at the AM frequency is now at the much-stronger signal of FM 105.1.
The stations call letters remain as KGGO and is promoted as GO Country. Check them out at their web site www.gocountry.am/

Former KZLA MD Campos Rumored To Be MD For L.A.'s New Country
ALL ACCESS is hearing strong rumors that former KZLA/LOS ANGELES APD/MD/personality TONYA CAMPOS will be joining LOS ANGELES' new Country outlet, KKGO (GO COUNTRY). CAMPOS, a veteran in the LOS ANGELES market is sure to add instant format credibility to the new station. Most recently she was working as the West Coast Rep for LOFTON CREEK RECORDS.
CAMPOS will be joining MIKE JOHNSON, who has been named PD for the new Country outlet. JOHNSON was already in-house as OM.
