This rising Texas artist's new CD reflects his popular live shows.

Rising straight out of the Texas dust, Kevin Fowler and his country band are shooting for the stars with their newly released album, Bring It On. Debuting on Billboard at number 14, the country music CD is creating quite a buzz among fans.

Bring It On

Featuring George Jones in the duet, "Me and the Boys," this cut is not just country music, it’s Fowler’s own brand of Texas country and that makes all the difference. The long-awaited CD also delivers rocking tunes like "Honky Tonk Junkie" and "Let’s Start Living." Every weary working class citizen can relate to lyrics like 'Let’s jump off in the deep end, get everything out of the weekend.'

Other party songs include "We Ain’t Dead Yet" and "I Pulled a Hank Last Night," along with one sweet ballad, "Best Mistake I Ever Made," in which Kevin does a superb job. In "Long Line of Losers," the opening sounds of a lonesome fiddle and Artie Passes’ precise harmony echo the cries of ancestors who found some questionable ways to deal with life’s troubles.

Bring It On reflects Kevin’s unique style and rousing concert performances that have earned him a dedicated and rapidly growing fan base. Described as a country rebel with a heart of rock, Kevin is in his element on the stage. His party spirit is contagious as he pokes fun with rowdy lyrics, bringing the house down with an energetic show to rival many rock concerts.

Live Shows

Just one show and you'll be hooked! From the moment the band struts onto stage in atmospheric smoke and lights and cranks up that distinctive rocking country beat, the screaming fans just can’t stay still. With his rock band background, Kevin’s message in "Feels Good Don't It?" is 'turn it up good and loud...let the party begin…step on the gas, let her fly, only got one shot, enjoy the ride...party like a rock star.’ Everything about his music screams Friday quitting time. Fans, aged seven to seventy, rockers as well as rednecks, get 'loose, loud and crazy' at 150 live shows per year.

Backed by Chris Whitten’s dancing fiddle, Arty Passes' crying steel guitar, Tracy Martin’s lively lead guitar, Gary Herman's walking bass, and Ken Tondre’s driving drums, leave it to Kevin to create a place in music where rockers and rednecks, college students and retirees meet.

Staying after each show to sign autographs and pose for pictures till every fan is gone, Kevin says, “I don’t ever want to be a radio-based artist, where my career lives and dies by radio. I want to be about the fans.”

Kevin may be "100% Texan" but Fowler fans are right proud to share their rising star with the rest of America. Check Kevin Fowler's website for a tour schedule.
