Nashville's local places like Loveless Cafe, The Palm, Pancake Pantry, The Country Music Hall of Fame, and Watermark are favorites for country singers and celebrities.

During an interview for her latest Number One album, Reba McEntire recently revealed that she loves to dine at Nashville hotspots including Germantown Café, Midtown Café, and elegant Watermark. Shopping at the upscale Mall at Green Hills and dropping by the Country Music Hall of Fame are other favorite pastimes.

People considering a trip to Nashville soon should consider this list of places that Nashville celebs and locals alike go to shop, chill out, and chow down.

Local Favorites—Pancake Pantry, Loveless Cafe

Vince Gill and Kellie Pickler are regulars at the favorite Pancake Pantry. The small but popular eatery is famous for its array of signature pancakes (including its Sugar and Spice pancakes). Be sure to get there early as there is almost always a line.

What country star doesn’t love The Loveless Café? This adored Southern meat-and-three restaurant’s walls are covered with 8x10 glossies of superstars who have dined there—including Leann Rimes, Kellie Pickler, Tanya Tucker, Dolly Parton, Vince Gill, Alan Jackson, and many more. Superstar trio Lady Antebellum celebrated their Number One song, “I Run to You,” with an event at the establishment.

Upscale Eateries—PF Chang’s, Sunset Grill, The Tin Roof

Celebrities and record industry elite regularly hold business lunches at swanky places like The Palm, and Sunset Grill during the week, as well as more relaxed places like The Tin Roof and Edgehill Cafe.

Kenny Chesney and Faith Hill both favor the Asian cuisine of PF Chang’s in Franklin, TN. Steakhouses like Fleming’s Steakhouse, Ruth Chris Steakhouse, and the aforementioned The Palm are also on Hill’s favorite’s list.

Chain Restaurants—Cracker Barrel, Starbucks

Mid-priced chain restaurants have their fair share of singers filling the seats as well. George Jones and Josh Turner have been spotted at Cracker Barrel, while Alan Jackson and Joe Nichols have noshed at Outback Steakhouse in Cool Springs.

Like most people, country stars love their coffee. Keith Urban has been spotted at Starbucks in Green Hills and Franklin. Ditto for singers like Carrie Underwood and Billy Currington.

For the best inexpensive breakfast, Faith Hill likes the classic smothered and covered options at Waffle House.

Out and About in Nashville

The Venetian Nail Spa in Green Hills is a popular grooming spot for country stars—Faith Hill, Carrie Underwood, and Jessica Simpson have had their nails styled there. Hill also likes clothing stores like Jaime’s.

Sports games are also good bets. Stars like Jessica Andrews, Carrie Underwood, and Kid Rock have been among those filling the seats to cheer on Nashville teams like the Predators and the Titans.

Not only do some country stars act in movies, they like to watch them too. Stars like Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, and Phil Vassar have been spotted at 100 Oaks Theaters and Thoroughbred Cinemas.

Music venues like the Bluebird Café, Station Inn, and Tootsie’s, have been home to stars like Dierks Bentley, Reba McEntire, John Rich, and Vince Gill, who sometimes come out to support local talent and to unwind.

Summary

Nashville is a city filled with wonderful places to eat, shop, and relax. The culture, cuisine, and of course, music, make the places on this list long-time favorites for local and stars. It is advised that people should be respectful and kind when or if they meet a celebrity. In the words of Reba, celebrities are people, too—they just sing better than most.
