Faith Hill is defending her on-camera reaction

The announcement of Female Vocalist of the Year has gotten more attention for who didn't win.

What! Faith Hill look unprofessional?

Yup, it happened Monday night at the CMA Awards. When Carrie Underwood's name was anounced, Faith Hill made an angry face, mouthed the word "What" to the camera, and left the picture - stage right.

The southern darling that Nashville has made a queen showed bad judgement, whether she was kidding or not.

To compound the problem, in the age of DVRs, TiVo, and YouTube the video has been played and seen by millions more than it would have had this incident happened just a couple of years ago. In fact, if you want you can see it again by clicking on this link. http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=faith+hill

So what does this mean for Faith Hill? Probably nothing, she has already released a statement saying she was joking and that she and Carrie Underwood have already spoken and there are no hard feelings. Given Faith's extremely clean history and her status in Nashville, it's hard to imagine this would be anything more than just an embarrasing moment.

I'm waiting to see Brooks & Dunn's reaction when they finally don't win Duo of the Year. They won the trophy for the 14th straight year on Monday.
