Keith Urban, Kelly Clarkson, and Reba are all part of this latest trip around the headlines in country music.


If you're a country music fan, there's a lot of interesting information being released to the public lately. Here's your one-stop shopping:

  • Trick Pony's new lead singer, Aubrey Collins, is a Colorado-raised musician with rock n’ roll roots.Collins, who replaces Heidi Newfield, has performed with several big names in rock music, including Joan Jett and Kid Rock. (courtesy www.countrynation.com)
  • The Academy of Country Music announced that the nominations for the 42nd ANNUAL ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC® AWARDS will be revealed the morning of Monday, March 5th, 2007.
  • Keith Urban, who recently completed his treatment for alcohol abuse, will be the musical guest when Forest Whitaker hosts NBC's "Saturday Night Live" on Feb. 10. (courtesy AP)
  • Kelly Clarkson and Reba McEntire will tape an episode of CMT Crossroads on Feb. 22 in Nashville in front of an invitation-only audience. The episode will air in the fourth quarter of 2007. Clarkson sang "Why Haven't I Heard From You" and "Does He Love You" on CMT Giants: Reba in November and recently appeared on McEntire's sitcom, Reba. McEntire's duets album, to be released in late 2007, features a duet with Clarkson. (courtesy www.cmt.com)
